Getting started

How should I start my first week with mouth tape or nasal strips?

Treat the first few uses as fit checks, not a performance test. Start with clean, dry skin and follow the instructions in the pack. If you are trying mouth tape, first make sure you can breathe freely and comfortably through your nose. Stop straight away if you feel anxious, uncomfortable or unable to breathe normally. A calm, gradual start is better than forcing a full night.

How do I make mouth tape or nasal strips stick?

Wash and fully dry the area first. Skip moisturiser, face oil and other skincare where the adhesive will sit, and avoid touching or repeatedly repositioning the sticky side. Apply once, then press it down as shown in the pack instructions. Do not use adhesive products on broken, sunburned or irritated skin. Skin and adhesion differ from person to person.

How do I remove mouth tape or a nasal strip gently?

Use warm water or remove it in the shower, loosen one edge and peel back slowly instead of pulling it straight up. Never rip an adhesive product off. If your skin feels tender or looks irritated, pause use and let it settle before trying again.

Can I use a nasal strip and mouth tape together?

Some people use both in one bedtime routine. Apply the external nasal strip first and check that nasal breathing feels clear and comfortable. Only then consider mouth tape, and only if you can already breathe freely through your nose. Do not use mouth tape when you are congested or unwell, and stop immediately if anything feels wrong. Neither product diagnoses or treats sleep apnea or another medical condition.

Can I use nasal strips for sport or travel?

External nasal strips can fit a sport or travel routine when they are applied to clean, dry skin and used according to the pack instructions. Mouth tape is for a bedtime routine only: never wear it during exercise. Adhesive strips and tapes are single-use unless the instructions for your specific product say otherwise.

Products

How does nasal breathing differ from mouth breathing?

Your nose is built for breathing: it filters, warms and humidifies the air on its way in, which is why many people find nasal breathing more comfortable during rest and sleep. Mouth breathing often goes together with a dry mouth or a restless night, though the cause differs from person to person. If snoring, breathing or sleep concerns keep coming back, discuss them with your doctor: Resty products support your routine, they don't diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Is mouth tape safe to use?

Mouth taping can be a calm addition to your evening routine, but it isn't for everyone. Only use it if you can breathe freely through your nose, and follow the instructions in the pack. Stop right away if breathing feels difficult, or if you notice discomfort or skin irritation. Do you have a diagnosed breathing or sleep condition such as sleep apnea, or are you unsure whether taping suits you? Check with your doctor first. Mouth tape is a wellness product, not a medical device.

What's the difference between H-Shape, X-Shape, and Advanced mouth tape?

X-Shape: the smallest footprint and lightest hold, with the most mouth freedom.
H-Shape: medium hold and more skin contact for a gentle regular routine.
Advanced H-Shape: elastic construction and the strongest hold for people who need a firmer fit.

Fit and adhesion vary with skin type, preparation and how much you move at night. Use mouth tape only when you can breathe comfortably through your nose and follow the instructions for your chosen shape. In doubt? Send us a message: we're happy to help you pick.

How do nasal strips work?

Our nasal strips sit on the outside of your nose and gently lift the sides of the nose open. Some users notice easier airflow, though fit and feel differ from person to person. They don't treat congestion or any other medical condition. Follow the instructions on the pack, and stop using a strip if it feels uncomfortable or irritates your skin.

What are magnetic nasal strips?

Our magnetic nasal strips are worn entirely on the outside of your nose. Two small adhesive tabs stick to the outside of your nostrils and connect magnetically to a reusable band that gently lifts the sides of the nose. Nothing sits inside your nose, and you simply replace the adhesive tabs after each use. As with all our strips, fit and the feeling of airflow vary from person to person.

Red Light Therapy

What is red light therapy?

Red light therapy, also called photobiomodulation, uses selected wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. Research into its biological effects is ongoing, and how it works out depends on your goal, the wavelengths, the dose, the device, and on you. Our panels are home-wellness devices, not medical devices, so we won't promise you a specific health or performance outcome. We'd rather be honest about that than oversell.

What wavelengths do the Mars panels use?

That depends on the model. The MARS 400 uses two wavelengths: 660 and 850 nm. The MARS 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 2000 use nine: 480, 590, 630, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850 and 1060 nm. Always check the product page for the exact, current specification of the model you have in mind, or just ask us.

Which Mars panel is right for me?

MARS 400: compact and targeted, with two wavelengths and simple controls.
MARS 600: a daily all-rounder for face, shoulders and upper body.
MARS 800: wider upper-body coverage.
MARS 1000: a taller panel for roughly three-quarter-body coverage.
MARS 1200: three-quarter-body coverage in a wider, double-column format.
MARS 2000: the largest option for near full-body coverage.

MARS 600 through 2000 use the same nine wavelengths and support app, touchscreen and remote control; the main differences are panel size, LED count, power and coverage. Compare the current product specifications and the space you have available. Doubting between two models? Send us a message: we'll help you choose.

How do I use the Mars panels?

Start with the manual that comes with your panel: distance, session length, controls and recommended frequency differ per model and setting. Begin with the shortest recommended setting and don't exceed the instructions: more is not better here. Use the supplied eye protection where directed. Pregnant, photosensitive, living with a health condition, or taking medication that increases light sensitivity? Ask your doctor before your first session.

How long until I see results?

Honestly: there is no fixed timeline, and we won't pretend otherwise. Some users notice a change, others don't, and experiences vary with your goal, routine, settings, and you. A home-wellness panel is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment, so talk to your doctor about pain, skin, joint, sleep or other health concerns.

Is red light therapy safe?

Mars panels give non-invasive light exposure, but no device suits everyone. Follow the manual for your model, use the supplied eye protection where directed, and stop if something feels off or your skin reacts unexpectedly. These are wellness devices, not medical devices. Pregnant, photosensitive, living with a health condition, or on medication that increases light sensitivity? Check with your doctor before use.

What's the warranty on Mars panels?

Mars panels include a 3 year commercial warranty. The product page and our warranty terms explain the exact coverage. You can also try eligible Resty Red Light devices at home for 60 days under our Refund Policy. A stated LED lifetime is a component rating, not a guarantee for the panel as a whole.
