MARS 1200 is the wide dual-column model for larger body areas and less repositioning during a session. It combines 432 LEDs, 720 W and nine selectable wavelengths in a housing that is 92 cm tall and 42 cm wide.

Choose MARS 1000, 1200 or 2000
Choose MARS 1000 for a narrow half-body panel. MARS 1200 gives more width at the same height. For a 184 cm full-body format, compare MARS 2000.
Setup and positioning
Place the panel securely, select your preferred wavelengths and brightness, and follow the distance and session guidance in the manual. Use the included eye protection whenever the manual recommends it.

Nine wavelengths, from visible red to invisible near-infrared
Every Mars panel from the 600 up uses the same nine LED bands: blue at 480 nm, amber at 590 nm, red at 630–670 nm and near-infrared at 810–1060 nm. Roughly half the output is beyond 700 nm: light you cannot see.

What research shows

Absorbed in the mitochondria
Red and near-infrared light is mainly absorbed by the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria of your cells. Researchers see this as the starting point of what is called photobiomodulation.

Among 136 participants, 30 sessions of red or broad red-to-near-infrared light led to better skin ratings, less roughness and higher measured collagen density than in the control group.

A meta-analysis of 13 randomised trials found that red or infrared light before exercise modestly increased repetitions and time to exhaustion.
